In Which Tavatala Spies a Shiny Dovan

May 28, 1178

"Do you think he can see us?"

Tavatala's cousin was no younger than she was; in fact, if her mother was to be believed, he was even a couple hours older. But still, Vyriat was such a child at times. Perhaps it was just symptomatic of his being a boy.

Oh well. There was certainly nothing wrong with being the clever one. "I don't think he has eyes."

"Hear us, then?"

The way Vyriat was talking, Tavatala thought they would have known. "I don't think he has ears either. Or a mouth, for that matter--or a nose."

"Then how does he get around?"

Tavatala rolled her eyes. Vyriat always missed the most obvious answers. "He must have something we don't. Maybe the feathers help somehow."

"How?"

Ugh. How her aunt and uncle coped, she didn't even want to consider.

Ah, but they weren't even ten yet. Surely he'd grow up in a few years?

"I don't know. I don't have feathers; how should I know what they're for?"

"Birds fly with feathers."

Well. At least Vyriat had eyes. "He's not a bird. He's... I don't know what he is. Some kind of Dovan."

"A shiny Dovan."

And to think--that would probably be the most sensible thing out of his mouth all week.

"Yes, Vyriat. A shiny Dovan."

*points*

Sorry about the hasty post. I've been a little sick these past couple days (migraine-y, then sore throat-y) and I felt bad for not posting anything on Wednesday. I should have at least managed a CMLP update--I do have the pictures--but it just didn't happen.

Sorry :S

Shiny! XD

How cute are those two kids! *cuddles*

I'm sorry to hear you've been sick. :( Hope you'll feel better really soon! Don't worry about not updating! Just take care of yourself for now, alright? :hugs:

Also: Yay! Simself sighting! :bunny dance: I can't wait!

They are pretty cute :)

Thanks Ann *hug* I've been trying to take it as easy as possible given school, but the sad fact is that my outlines have been suffering--hence why there's really only been Naronis lately, even before I got sick :S

And yes, that is your self-Sim! Sadly, she might be at the mercy of Laralita's POV, but she will have quite a bit of airtime in late '78/'79 that should hopefully make up for it. She lucked out and caught a pretty big part :P

If anyone out there has a self-Sim itching for a cameo... let me know :)

Yesss, for once, I didn't even need to be pointed to past chapter to know what was going on. Great googly moogly, won't someone just execute Remiel, already?

For a sick person, you've been pretty busy, Van. I somehow don't think that an apology is in order. Hope you feel better, though!

Dude! I volunteer for a Naroni cameo.

Feel better soon, Van! And don't worry about not updating -- health comes first!

Tavatala is HILARIOUS. I think I thought very similar things about my brother when I was her age. (He was a bit younger than I was, but still.)

But, um, YIKES! The not-Servo is wandering through the woods ... and could break forth into civilization at any time ... crap.

And, alas, to me, this is only a reason not to execute Remiel. He's the only one who knows what this thing is or how to control it if it goes on a killing spree. Much better to keep him alive and hopefully pump him for information.

... Why did that make me think of Silence of the Lambs? I haven't even seen that movie in its entirety!

*sigh* Unless this not-Servo is as mild-mannered as Ambrosius and Benoic, I have a bad, bad feeling about this.

Pen: Heh. I figured it had been long enough that some people might have forgotten. Glad you didn't, though :)

Heh. Sometimes, writing is the only thing that keeps me from going off the deep end XD

Hmmm... I was thinking we'd probably see Xeta's maid at some point in 1179. Does that sound like an okay cameo bit?

Morgaine: Yeah, my little brother was pretty stupid too XD

Good point about Remiel. If the humans find out about this and they want answers, it wouldn't do them any good to turn to a dead man. Severin can always kill Remiel after they get to the bottom of this.

As for the nature of the not-Servo... I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Oh yeah, feel free to cast and alter PenSim however! :bunny:

*deep voice* Kingdom of Naroni: Revenge of the Robots: Hitting your screens on March 17th 2012.

OK, maybe not really, but when I read this earlier today, I was thinking just that.

Seriously though, what is up with those robot thingys? Something tells me that they're not here to bring gifts of love and joy to the inhabitants of Naroni.

Yay for weird supernatural robots!

XD

Oh, that would definitely be a flop :P

We'll find out more about this mysterious figure fairly soon. That'll all I'll say for now ;)

I like Tavatala! She's deff the kind of girl I would agree with! I hope you're better soon! I've been away too, I shaved my head for world's greatest shave :P And I agree with Ann, these kids are adorable!!

She's certainly got spunk :)

Thanks! I'm not quite back to peak condition, but I am on the mend :)

Oh, wow! That's awesome! I'd never have the guts to do anything like that. I applaud you :)
