In Which Riona Toes the Line

This post is NSFW.
**Trigger Warning

August 3, 1175

She'd thought she'd give him a break. The beds at this inn were cheaper than most and the dormitory had been empty. Riona had waited for Sir Domingo and the others to retire--she didn't want to risk any of them robbing Isidro of his solitude--then paid for a bed and told Isidro not to wait up for her. It was the least she could do, really, giving him a bit of extra comfort.

And yet, somehow, she'd found it had come at the cost of her own. A big room all to herself and she hadn't managed to get a wink of sleep all night. "Izzy?"

No response. Whatever problem she had, he didn't share it.

But she needed her sleep too--surely he didn't want her holding back the whole group? Riona quickly undressed and shoved her clothes into one of the drawers. "Iz? Are you awake? Izzy?"

He wasn't.

The only light in the room was a candle burning on the shelf in the far corner, but the glow of the moon fell through the window, landing on the wooden floor and the side of the bed. Riona stepped into the beam and looked down at Isidro's sleeping form. She had to smile. Looks like someone's having a good dream.

And yet, she wanted to interrupt it. She couldn't remember the last time she'd fallen asleep without a bedtime chat with Isidro and she was old enough to realize that habits died hard. A little more playful than was usual for this hour, she nudged him with her foot. Nothing. She tried playing with his hair and poking him on the shoulder. Also nothing; this was proving rather frustrating. Determined, Riona began to work her way downward--tickling his underarm, pawing at his chest, pressing her thumb into the groove of his naval...

Isidro grunted. Caught off-guard, Riona pulled back her hand from the area she'd brushed. It... wasn't exactly an area she was used to touching. Even under the cover of the blankets it felt alien and awkward--and undeniably intriguing. She had to admit that her curiosity had been sparked. Maybe he'd like it? He was a man, after all. And besides, if nothing else had managed to wake him...

After a second's hesitation, Riona's fingers spidered back to the uncharted region and began to explore. She folded the blanket beneath and stroked the shaft's underside a couple of times, a quiet thrill rushing inward from her fingertips and almost releasing a giggle. Deciding to mix things up a bit, she wrapped her thumb and index finger around it and slid the resulting ring back and forth across its length, occasionally adjusting the pressure as cued by some instinct of which she'd always been oblivious. Her heart began to beat just a little bit faster and her motion changed speed to match it. It got to the point where she thought the blood would burst from her veins, leak from every orifice.

But she felt no desire to stop.

A strange and sweet something welling within her core, her fingers slipped to the base, intent on running wild on the area beneath, but they were brought to a halt when what they'd been grasping didn't follow. Riona shivered. She thought she knew what had happened, but just to make sure, she allowed herself to look; sure enough, it had taken to standing on its own, making a monument of itself with a tent-like bulge in the blankets.

And dear God! Riona had seen Isidro naked before, but she'd never had anything to compare him to. In terms of the size of the thing, she hadn't been unimpressed--indeed, considering that he wasn't a large man overall, rather the opposite--but she'd never really thought about it, or at least not in a comparative context. But clearly, Raia had been right about the whole expansion idea--and clearly she hadn't given Riona a strong enough word! To say that it had expanded was to say that a spooked horse trotted.

Would it feel any different? It was one of those thoughts that entered the mind and refused to leave. Riona put up a half-hearted struggle against it if only out of obligation, but it wasn't long before her reckless impulses won out. Slowly, she began to reach...

"Don't."

A masculine hand snapped around her wrist like a tight iron shackle. Riona gasped as she was flipped onto her back, the lithe body looming over her larger than she'd ever seen it. Muscled legs wedged their way between her own and a sweating palm dug into her shoulder. The thrill in her body replaced with an icy dread, Riona tried to struggle but to no effect. Against all instinct, she'd gone rigid.

"What the hell, Riona?"

His eyes were neither scarred nor angry, but hurt, insulted, maybe a little disgusted. She thought she understood. She'd been toeing a line and maybe she'd crossed it. But surely he wouldn't respond in kind? Or at least... not to any greater capacity? He wasn't a large man, but she was just a scrawny fifteen-year-old girl. He'd already split apart her legs and all he had to do was pull down her braises. He might have been able to enter through one of the leg holes, even--they were loose enough. If he made up his mind, she was in no position to stop him. It was beyond terror, beyond helplessness. Maybe this was how fallen warriors felt as the vultures circled above them, broken and bleeding and knowing they were done for but unable to do anything about it. Maybe this was how her mother had felt as she lay dying.

Maybe this was how his mother had felt when she'd met Sir Domingo.

"What the hell?"

He wasn't just saying it. It was a question and he wanted an answer, but she wasn't sure she could give him one. She didn't know. She couldn't remember. All she knew was that she wanted him to get off of her. "Please d-don't rape me."

"What?" Even in the dim light she could see his eyes widen and she found she could breath again. It hadn't been his intention. No... more than that. He found the thought horrifying. Not that it was all that comforting; now they were both fucking terrified. "Riona..."

With an uncharacteristic haste, he scrambled off of her, his erection brushing against her knee. She watched with a static fixation as he collapsed by the edge of the mattress and rolled onto his side, his back toward her. She didn't know how she felt about that. She didn't really know how she felt about anything. "Izzy..."

"Don't." He nestled into the pillow with a defeated sort of shame. Her hand moved toward the small of his back, but he jerked away before it could reach. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean for you to think that.

"You can leave if you want. I won't blame you if you do."

She didn't. She wasn't sure why.

This is one of those posts that probably should have taken more time than it actually did, but I was in a bit of a hurry. I wanted it up tonight, but I have an exam in the morning. Sorry about that.

Oh. Oh my.

Riona ... that girl doesn't just play with fire, she builds a tree fort with flamethrowers for the studs. She is damn lucky she decided to experiment with Izzy and not somebody like, say, Domingo. This could have gone so much worse.

And as it is ... it's gonna be a hell of a mess in the morning.

This could have definitely turned a lot uglier depending on the guy :S

As for the morning... well, we'll see... :S

Oh Riona. What in the world was she thinking?

I'm very curious to see what Isidro will have to say in the morning. He should march her home right now!

I'm thinking she wasn't :S

As for what Isidro will say in the morning... well, I've already mostly written the post. I just need to finish it off and get a preview pic for the post after.

There are so many things I want to say about this and I just..ugh...she never thinks things through. She is impulsive and spoiled, and she thinks she should just be able to have what ever she wants. How did she think Iz would feel about all of this? Of course he'd be angry, of course he'd feel hurt, and probably more than a little violated!
You don't just go molesting people Riona! You wouldn't want one of the guys doing the same to you. She's so lucky Iz is the type of man he is because if wouldn't have been wrong to assume she wanted sex (incorrect but a fair assumption) and most of the other men probably wouldn't have hesitated long enough for her to say other wise...
And seriously I feel for Iz here, this is more than awkward, and thinking he would rape her...I know that hurt on so many levels for him.

Thinking things through is not Riona's strong suit. And yeah, I'd guess that Isidro is at least partly angry, hurt, and violated. :S

This could have turned out much, much worse than it actually did.
